ABOUT SDHCC

Initially formed in 2002, The South Dakota Health Care Coalition (SDHCC) was formed to coordinate statewide healthcare preparedness and response processes as directed by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), and the South Dakota Department of Health (SD DOH).

BECOME A COALITION MEMBER

Creation of HCCs is a national priority, and funding for HCCs is provided by the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). The benefits of joining a Coalition include information on, access to and resources for disaster planning, equipment, training, and exercises. Being a Coalition member ensures that your organization is appropriately represented in Coalition planning and response initiatives.

Partners in preparedness.

The purpose of the South Dakota Health Care Coalition is to bring public, private, and non-profit organizations together for the purpose of collaborative disaster medical health planning and training.

Our mission is to build and facilitate comprehensive preparedness and response capabilities across the state of South Dakota by engaging healthcare partners in advancing shared goals of collaboration, communication, and coordination.
